Amid the vibrant pulse of spring, a gathering of talents unfolded. On March 18, 2025, the Loudi · Central Region “Materials Valley” Talent Recruitment & Innovation Initiative and the “Benefiting Enterprises, Revitalizing Loudi” Special Job Fair at the university took place in the  Concert Hall, Yifu Building. The event was hosted by the Loudi Municipal People’s Government, with co-organization by the Loudi Municipal Organization Department, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Hunan University of Humanities, Science and Technology.

The job fair attracted 243 high-quality enterprises and institutions from Loudi, including Hunan Valin Lianyuan Iron & Steel Group, offering over 2,200 positions across materials science, mechanical engineering, electronics, information technology, and other fields, providing graduates with diverse employment opportunities.

The event began with a screening of Loudi’s talent recruitment promotional video, showcasing the city’s dynamic development and favorable environment for talent growth.

Sheng Mingke addressed in the event. In his opening remarks, Sheng Mingke extended a warm welcome to attending leaders, guests, and corporate representatives. He emphasized the university’s commitment to its fundamental mission of “cultivating virtue and nurturing talent”, fostering well-rounded individuals for the new era. He pledged to deepen university-local-enterprise collaboration, align academic programs with Loudi’s industrial needs, optimize disciplines, enhance industry-education integration, and strengthen collaborative talent development. This, he stated, would create broader employment platforms for graduates and inject more outstanding talent into Loudi’s socioeconomic development, jointly writing a chapter of mutual prosperity where “the university thrives with the city, and the city grows stronger with the university.”

Xie Zhongyang highlighted talent as the foremost resource driving high-quality development. He noted that Loudi’s municipal government prioritizes talent development, continuously refining policies and improving the environment to attract innovators and entrepreneurs. He encouraged graduates to choose Loudi as their home, where they could realize their ambitions and contribute to the city’s vibrant future.

Then, a promotion of the Central Region “Materials Valley” was undertaken. Zeng Wansheng, Director of the Loudi Municipal Development and Reform Commission, detailed the Materials Valley’s industrial strengths, growth prospects, and talent demands. The event also featured the appointment of Loudi’s Talent Recruitment Ambassadors, with representative Zhu Zenghui sharing insights on the city’s talent initiatives. Zou Baohua, representative of enterprise partner Aipair Company, provided on-site job recommendations and career advice. He Shengwen, a 2024 outstanding graduate from the university’s School of Materials and Environmental Engineering and current employee of Hongwang Group, shared his firsthand experiences working in Loudi, expressing strong confidence in the city’s future.

                      
Concluding the ceremony, leaders jointly launched the 2025 Loudi · Central Region “Materials Valley” Talent Recruitment & Innovation Initiative and interacted warmly with employers and job seekers at the fair.
