From August 27^th to 30^th, the 7th Hunan "Internet +"College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, "CCBCup", sponsored by 10 departments including Hunan Provincial Department of Education and organized by the Student Information Consultation and Employment Guidance Center of provincial colleges and technical schools, Hunan Branch of China Construction Bank and Hunan Open University, was held in Changsha. Ourstudents won a provincial first prize in the competition, and the "Rice Insect resistant molecular breeding" project successfully entered the National competition.

Inthis competition, a total of 360 projects in the province were promoted to thesecond round of the semi-final. After two days of fierce competition, theproject of "thermal insulation decoration integrated board" won theprovincial first prize. The two provincial first prize winning project teams participated in the national competition on August 30th in Hunan Open University.Among them, "rice insect resistance molecular breeding" project successfully entered the national competition.

Inorder to select and cultivate good projects to participate in this year's provincial competition, college of Innovation and Entrepreneurship held the 7th competition launching ceremony carefully in May this year, and visited secondary colleges for competition publicity and guidance for many times,inviting domestic experts to carry out several rounds of project guidance.

Theachievement fully shows our young students are vigorous, ambitious,enterprising, bold and creative, will further promote the school's innovativetraining of application-oriented talents, leading students to set up a dream of entrepreneurship. We will further strengthen theforce for mass entrepreneurship and innovation initiative. In the future, theCollege of Innovation and Entrepreneurship will make persistent efforts topromote teaching, learning and innovation through competition, and promote the innovation and entrepreneurship education of our university to a higher level.
